Korean Spicules in Scottsdale

WHAT ARE SPICULES?
Spicules are found in many sponge like species. They form the exoskeleton of the sponges and take on many fascinating shapes with needle shaped particles that can be seen under a microscope. When used in skincare they gently penetrate the skin’s surface and act like tiny microneedles to stimulate cell turnover, boost collagen production, and enhance product absorption. When mixed with a needling safe serum, they effectively deliver active ingredients deeper into the skin for transformative results in texture, clarity, and radiance.
Although spicules cause exfoliation and skin turnover, they work differently than chemical peels. They act as a delivery system, often described as a needle free alternative to microneedling.
One of the key advantages of spicules is its suitability for all skin tones, without the risks commonly seen with traditional micro needling or chemical peels.
Recommended for those who have congested skin, hyperpigmentation, texture, non inflamed acne, dullness, fine lines, and superficial scarring.
